My name is Carla Rae and I live in Michigan. I have a wonderful husband who encourages my jewelry making, which is a good thing since I spend most of my spare time making jewelry. When I'm not making jewelry I am at work . I am a registered nurse and have been for 22 years. I have 2 girls, both married and 6 grandchildren, ages range from 15yrs old to 1 month. I use to be a wood crafter and did this with my twin sister Darla. Unfortunatly 8 years ago she lost her battle to cancer and I lost my best friend. So it was hard to get back into wood crafting after she was gone. Making jewelry has filled the void I have felt since she passed away. We have a few animals that share our home with us, or should I say we share the home with them. lol ! We have Coco, a cocker spaniel, Kena, a black lab, Tigger (queen tigger) our cat,and Sky, our parakeet. We just had George(king george) put to sleep. He was very old and became very sick. He was my baby!
